CPT J. COBIKUS
ON ASSIGNMENT
MACD-110’s Commanding Officer is a former Army Cav-Scout, 75th Ranger RRC Veteran, and Green to Gold Special Forces Officer. Seeing action across Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa, Captain Cobikus is a highly experienced soldier with plenty of colors to prove it. Decorated heavily, though not limited to the Gold Medallion of Saint George, a Distinguished Service Medal, and a Silver Star; Lucky 10’s skipper leads from the front and has held the rank of 110’s Commander for many years now.
2LT M. DONAHUE
ON ASSIGNMENT
Second in Command of the unit, this Observer originally started off in Air Force Special Warfare as a CCT out of The 24th Special Tactics Squadron. As an airman, Donahue would see extensive service across Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Colombia, and Greater Northern Africa; all of which earned him the Air Force Cross, Distinguished Service Medal, a Silver Star, and 3 Bronze Stars, among other awards. Directly alongside Captain Cobikus, Donahue has kept watch over 110 for some time.
WO1 R. ZAID
The de facto Third in Command of 110, Zaid is among the most experienced and most veteran Observers in the unit. A former Air Force PJ from the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Zaid has deployed to Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and The Horn of Africa within Special Warfare, all of said action earning him his streamers. Among his awards, he holds an Air Force Cross, 2 Silver Stars, and 3 Bronze Stars. Now with his extensive experience and achievements on his sleeve, this Pedro helps lead The men of Lucky 10.
1SG A. HUNTER
Holding the rank of the most senior enlisted member of 110, 1st Sergeant Andrew Hunter runs his role as head NCO with great accomplishment. Hailing from the United Kingdom, the 1st Sergeant is a highly decorated veteran of the 22nd Special Air Service Regiment. Having served Across Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and Africa while earning a number of accolades including a conspicuous gallantry cross and most notably The Victoria Cross; Hunter is a very esteemed special operations member and now works to extend his skills onto more junior operators.
MSG B. CAT
Acting as one of Lucky 10’s team leads, this former Joint Fires Observer out of 22nd Special Tactics Squadron, Air Force Special Warfare is the most senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the unit outside of the 4 core members of command. Earning a Bronze Star among his numerous other accolades across his service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria; Master Sergeant Bob Cat is a versatile and admirable Observer who has proved himself as a combat leader in the detachment and a man all MAKO’s can look up to.
MSG G. MCMANN
Garry McMann is the pinnacle of an effective MAKO Observer and acting as one of 110’s senior NCOs, he is able to act as a guide for those around him. A Pararescue veteran of the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, McMann has seen tours in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and The Horn of Africa; all of which earned him a number of awards including his Silver and Bronze Star respectively. Now as a Red Beret veteran, he puts his years of experience to the test as a dependable comrade in any terrain.
MSG J. MINKLEBURG
Living as an example of what extensive specialist training can look like, Master Sergeant Jones Minkleburg is truly impressive in his field of work. Earning a Silver Star and 2 Bronze stars prior to joining MAKO, Minkleburg operated in 75th Ranger Regiment as a sniper across Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa. During his career in 1st Battalion Rangers, and now in MAKO, this observer has proven himself as an unparalleled marksman, even winning awards in military competition shooting.
SFC B. JACKET
One of MAKO’s primary missions as a versatile and guerilla fighting force is rarely better exemplified than by Sergeant First Class Black Jacket. A Green Beret veteran of 7th Special Forces Group, Jacket has earned himself a Silver Star and 2 Bronze Stars with his service stretching across Afghanistan, Iraq, Colombia, and Mexico. During these years in which he applied and honed great skill in unconventional warfare, sabotage, and demolition. Skills which Jacket carried with him as he traded his Green Beret for a red one.
SFC J. SILVER
MAKO’s core objective is to work with and aid foreign allied forces; something which Sergeant First Class Jackson Silver has earned his commendations for doing in great effort. A former member of the British 14th Special Reconnaissance Regiment, Silver has seen combat in Afghanistan, Iraq, and The Horn of Africa, earning him awards alongside his conspicuous gallantry cross. Though his other most notable award may be less glamorous, the Bosnian Bravery medal he was awarded for his actions in the Balkans is a perfect display of the efforts MAKO appreciates in its ranks.
SFC C. FRENCHIE
Proving as one of the most singlehanded impressive observers in 110, Sergeant First Class Chris Frenchie is a testament to the indomitable spirit and skill of all Red Berets. Despite the less than ideal conditions he faced, this Quebecan Sniper proved himself with the Canadian Special Operations Regiment across Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa, earning the Order of Military Merit, Star of Military Valour, and 2 Medals of Military Valour among a number of other awards, both American and Canadian.
SFC C. WATERSON
Carrying the soul of MAKO’s ethos with him wherever he goes, Sergeant First Class Cole Waterson acts as a spiritual flag bearer with the passion he brings into 110. Holding a Silver Star and Bronze star among his accomplishments, Waterson earned his battle merits with 2nd Marine Raider Battalion, MARSOC, deploying across Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, and The Philippines prior to transfer into Marine Airborne. Fervor and devotion as displayed by Waterson is the primary strength scouted in all MAKO Observers.
SFC C. DORSEY
Sergeant First Class Cam Dorsey is an example to all Observers of the mission effectiveness and readiness that is necessary to accomplish the objectives MAKOs are tasked with. A former Recon Marine turned decorated Marine Raider out of 2nd Battalion, MARSOC, this Scout Sniper’s deployments across Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, and The Philippines earned him a Silver Star, Bronze Star, and even the Navy Cross. Overall, this Observer’s career is a textbook case of tactical excellence.
SFC D. VAN DUIJN
Expertise and experience is extremely valued within the ranks of MAKO and Sergeant First Class Danny Van Duijin wears the wounds of his service similarly to his medals. A highly decorated Dutch frogman out of the Netherlands Special Marine Operation Forces, Van Duijin has seen more years of service than many of his peers. Across this service seeing deployments in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Mali, and oceans globally, the sergeant earned himself 2 Bronze Lions, the Cross of Courage and Fidelity, an American Silver Star, and the Military William Order; the highest Dutch military honor awarded.
SFC A. BAUER
Staff Sergeant Alexander Bauer is recognized for his dedication to one of MAKO’s truly core principles, which is the aid and protection of those in need. Earning a Distinguished Service Medal, Silver Star, and Legion of Merit among other awards during his tenure as a Green Beret, Bauer deployed with 5th Special Forces Group as a combat medic into Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, and Syria. This dedication to his missions plus his commendable personality should always be an example for looking up to.
SFC H. FREEMAN
Arriving in MAKO from his original duty as a Combat Controller with the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Staff Sergeant Huey Freeman is an experienced combat operator who is used to the stress that these careers carry with them. Earning a Silver Star next to his many other awards during his years of service in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Somalia, Freeman has had plenty of experience in the most difficult of situations special operatives face in the field, and he happily continues to seek out these challenges in his tenure with The Red Berets.
SSG C. ROGERS
Observers are often the cream of the crop wherever they come from, such is the case with Staff Sergeant Chris Rogers. Formerly a member of the 14th Engineer Battalion, Second Infantry Division, Rogers saw intense combat in Iraq and Afghanistan; his outstanding conduct during such times earned him a Distinguished Service Cross and Bronze Star. Rogers’ combat history plus his already impressive rap sheet, having managed to obtain his jump wings and ranger tab already made him a prime MAKO candidate.
SSG T. DESERT
You will find nobody who tries harder than Staff Sergeant Tony Desert. A former 3rd Battalion Marine Raider out of MARSOC, Desert has been deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, and The Philippines. During his service earning a Silver Star, a Filipino Distinguished Service Star, and a Bronze Star. Tony Desert is a testament to all MAKO principles when he tries, though he is the only Observer in MAKO to be allowed in on the tails of a DIA acceptance waiver.
SSG H. KEEGAN
Staff Sergeant Henrik Keegan is one of those cases where a soldier is simply exemplary. Originally in the Swedish Special Operations Task Group, Keegan has seen deployment in Afghanistan, Syria, and Burkina Faso. During his tours of duty, he became one of Sweden’s most accomplished soldiers in modern history; bolstering a Silver award for Valor, a Golden Armed Forces Medal of Merit, and the Royal Order of The Sword - Grand Cross, of Knightly grade. So now, Ser Keegan continues to serve with distinction under the MAKO banner, seeking out further combat distinctions.
